Simone Sine
Pronouns: THEY/THEM/THEIRS
Intersecting identities that inform my practice: Hi! I’m Simone and I use they/them pronouns. I am a white, queer, neurodivergent person and therapist as well as having a stutter. These identities inform my practice by giving me the perspective that we all exist on spectrums of experience. My lived experiences have taught me that there are many intersecting identities that we hold as humans. I welcome all identities and create a space for my clients for them to feel comfortable being vulnerable and authentic. Building a strong therapeutic relationship holds so much power and can be incredibly healing. I take time to get to know each person and their individual experiences and needs. My goal in working with LGBTQIA+ folx is to help my community explore their gender and sexuality and themself as a whole to feel liberated and connected to themself. I have been in the field for a year and a half and have been drawn to working with Queer, neurodivergent individuals.
Background and approach: I am particularly interested in connecting and working with young adults in the LGBTQIA+ community. I am eclectic when it comes to the modalities and theories that I integrate into therapy. I love to incorporate and utilize creative arts, feminist/intersectional therapy, trauma-informed, Jungian, person-centered, internal family systems, attachment, and Queer theory, and narrative theory into therapy.
Outside of Work: In my free time I enjoy bouldering, gardening, reading, and drawing. I also love tarot and hopefully soon I can integrate it into my practice! I also enjoy spending time with my partner, my sister, my friends, and my cats.
