Fees & Insurance
At Umbrella Collective we offer individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, and group therapy (for information on EMDR click here). All therapists charge independently based on experience and client needs.
Fees:
Initial Phone Consultation: Free (15 min)
Initial Assessment (Intake) Session: $150 - $200
Individual Therapy Session (45 to 60 minutes): $150 - $200
Couples/Relationship Therapy Session: $150 - $200
Group Therapy Session (60 to 90 minutes): $60 - $80

*While our biller and therapists work together to submit your insurance claims on your behalf, it is ultimately the responsibility of the client to confirm deductibles, co-pays, and/or any coinsurance due at time of services prior to services beginning. In addition, it’s the responsibility of the client to notify their therapist if they expect insurance coverage to be changing. Sessions conducted with no insurance will result in a full fee private pay charge.
Reduced Fee / Sliding Scale: In our efforts to provide accessible services in accordance with our social justice values, we do offer reduced-rates/sliding fee range based on financial need. We will work collaboratively with you to set a fee for services that meets both your needs and honors the clinical experience & expertise of our therapists. We do not ask for proof of income, but we do ask you to consider the below section when determining what you can pay.
Consider Paying Full Fee if you:
Have it in your capacity to sustain the costs and value of these services
You are able to comfortably meet all of your basic needs
You/your household have steady income that sustains you
Have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money
Have access to family money and resources in times of need
Work part time by choice or are not employed by choice
Have multiple streams of income
Have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education, gender, and racial privilege, class background, etc.
